So I'm updating once more before I log off for the night and just wanted to share a couple of pictures from the album that I'm putting together on my photography page from my stay in Germany. I honestly really miss the country and wanted to share a few of my favorite images with everyone that isn't connected to my page. There are so many pictures that i could consider my favorites but only a select few will make the cut to actually be viewed because lets face it most photogs are photo crazy we take a lot of pictures that are great but have to choose the best from the bunch so we dont overload the albums with hundreds of pictures. well i know this is cutting it short but here are a couple of the pictures that I've chosen for the album all of which are HDR images

Higby Wedding
Well its happened everyone!! I did my first wedding and let me tell you it was definitely a interesting experience. this wedding wasn't your typical style wedding, it wasn't in a church, both reception and wedding were in the same room, it was just interesting. Well I probably wont do another for a while because honestly I wasn't as prepared as I should of been. I didn't think about lightning problems as deeply as I should because to be honest, The lighting in that lodge was horrid and so much noise showed up in the pictures even thought I used the lowest ISO setting that I could that I was on the verge of a panic attack because I thought I had ruined this girls wedding. but thankfully I was able to removed most to all the noise from the pictures and they turned out nice for my first wedding. I know alot of wedding photographers warn about hiring other photographers that have never done a wedding because they are more interested in getting the ISO and shutter speed right for the wedding to not pay attention to the wedding itself. but I know enough about both to not need to worry about paying attention to my camera. The one thing that I should of had with me that I didn't was a external flash to offset the lightning problems it would of probably made my life a lot easier. The only flash I will NEVER and I mean NEVER use in any photo session is the one that is built into my camera. the pictures don't come out looking like they were professionally done because of the deep shadowing behind the subjects. its unprofessional and make you look like a fly by night photographer that doesn't know what they're doing when you use it in my opinion but enough about all that. right now I'd like to share some of the pictures for everyone to see!

Beautiful Colors of Fall
Well guys and gals those to die for fall colors are back and today i remembered to bring my camera along for out trip to the country for the Rural America country fair that Marion county Georgia has each year on the same day in November.. Yes me the one who always has those scatterbrained moments when i forget my camera in those rushed to go situations that i seem to be in constantly( thanks there hunni). Well i remembered today!!! i didnt expect to get anything great on this trip seeing as we were going to a little county fair but i think that these fall leave pictures turned out pretty good although i was just toying with my beloved canon. So! i thought i'd share my spoils with everyone instead of being stingy and keeping them to myself.. Well everyone here ya go i know they're raw images but still quite beautiful. i didnt have much time to blog or edit today but stole just enough to make a short post. Have a great blessed night everyone!!!

Day in the Pumpkin patch
Like the title states we spent the day at the pumpkin patch outside of Columbus with most of the family and our two dogs. Jason having been born in Germany has never been to the United states version of a pumpkin patch. And with that being said my mother wanted to take him to the one that makes a trip to every year. With out two dogs at first i was nervous about taking them because of our Husky Ari-ya, who has never been exposed to large crowds of people. But after maybe the first half hour my nervousness was far from needed because instead of the pumpkins being the main attraction, Ari-ya took the stage! Eeveryone seemed to be drawn to the pup like Bee's are drawn to flowers! For the most part i think that everyone enjoyed the day, like many family outings their were squabbles and dissagreements but by the time we left i think in my opinion that everyone had thuroughly enjoyed themselves. And this time i didnt forget to bring my camera along like i have for many excursions that we had done since arriving back in the United States. But in my defense i think the lack of rememberance to bring it along is due to the large amounts of stress that this move has put on me and the rest of the family. I hope to be able to blog/ update and share more of the pictures for our adventures with lessening of stress that seems to be taking place! Just to clarify about the pictures on this post. All are raw pictures straight off the chip, i wanted to blog and share but dont quite have the time to edit!
Until next time!!!
Have a great evening!!

Booking sessions again!!!!
Hey everyone!
After weeks and weeks everything is starting to calm down and get back into a daily routine. So i thought it was the perfect time to get back to work with photo sessions! For the first 4 people to book a session they'll get a special $40 dollar rate. that includes the location of their choice but the stipulation to getting the special price means the location has to be within Columbus or phenix city, city limits. The session is up to a hour and will include all the print quality( Pictures that make the cut to eventually get developed) on a CD with the print release. I will more than likely have some different specials throughout the year but this is the best one!! Well don't be shy come check out my facebook page and see what i can do! Most everything on my website was done in germany but they're still great examples!

Our New home "Bon Fire Fun"
Good morning everyone!
Its been quite a while since my last post. A lot has been going on and this has been my first chance to actually sit down and take the time to write in my blog. Well we moved into our home last week, everything's not here yet but its okay for the moment. A few nights ago we decided to go out back and have a little fun after discovering that our home came with a brick fire pit. The temperature outdoors was perfect to have a little safe Fire fun so after being unable to enjoy a good controlled fire of any kind i just couldn't resist and my husband was just a happy to partake in the fun as i was. you see in Germany unless you are permitted to live of the instillation your given military quarters which don't come with fireplaces and being from a place were winter fires are a norm it was quite a change. Well here a few shots i snapped with my canon, nothing fancy but still worth the look in my opinion.

Maternity Session
Well I completed my first maternity session. The session was a present for my friends baby shower since we wont be here to give her a gift and pictures are always good to have as memories. For my first of these sessions i think i did a good job and she seemed to be happy with how the pictures turned out. We took the pictures at kusel Castle in Kusel Germany which is maybe a 20-25 minute drive from our instillation. I'm not usually a bossy person when it comes to photo session but it came pretty easy to get the poses i wanted and the experimental ones that i've seen others use (not that i'm a copy cat i have my own unique way of doing things :) ) besides the mommy-daddy pictures the god parents also tagged along for the experience. the day was pretty fun, we laughed, goofed around and i was label "photography ninja" for catching some of the wacky faces and poses the guys kept striking.
